Whether from the bursting streets of Alexandra or sprawling Soweto boroughs, the RUN SHARP learners are boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 21 years who come from different backgrounds including adolescents who are overweight, adopted, orphans, under the care of an elderly person, relative or guardian, come from fragmented families, or simply struggling to find direction. They are a strong-willed bunch, committed to becoming spirited runners and health wise.
